Welcome to Torpenhow Village Hall

A social centre for the area

We run regular social events, and many groups hire the hall for their activities including local bands, exercise classes, Brownies and a local craft group.

The Hall is centrally located within the Allerdale district, conveniently covering the Carlisle, Whitehaven and Penrith areas. It has a capacity of 100 people, with catering facilities, a fully licensed bar and a stage, and offers excellent acoustics.

The Hall is available for hire at reasonable rates for meetings, parties, wedding receptions, family functions and social or corporate events. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in hiring the hall for your event. Just contact our Bookings secretary:
